Description

Hoover Tower sits above the treeline the way it always does, patient and familiar, while the rest of the scene gets on with a regular campus afternoon. A palm tree on the right, a lamppost catching the light, the red tile roofline of the GSB just visible through a wash of deep summer green. This watercolor canvas print has a warm, almost hazy quality to it, blush pinks and dusty purples in the sky, vivid greens in the trees, the whole thing painted with enough looseness that it feels like a moment rather than a portrait. It's the kind of view you walk past a hundred times without stopping, and then one day you do stop, and you get it. The matte canvas finish handles the warm palette well, keeping everything soft without going flat. Gallery-stretched on a slim 1.25" pine frame and ready to hang out of the box, it's for anyone who spent time at Stanford and wants a piece of it on their wall that doesn't feel like a brochure.
