Description

The sun is going down somewhere behind those clouds and the light is coming through in long horizontal strips of gold across a sea that has gone every shade of blue and grey at once. The rocks in the foreground are doing what Monterey rocks do, sitting heavy and salt-stained and completely at ease, while a single sailboat out on the water makes the whole scene feel just inhabited enough.
