Description

Some views just stick with you. This is one of them. Looking down toward the bay from above Ghirardelli, the water doing that thing it does in the afternoon where it can't quite decide if it's green or blue, Angel Island parked out there like it always has been, a few boats drifting around like they have nowhere to be. The watercolor treatment is loose and easy, blush pinks and dusty greens and that particular Bay Area sky that photographs never quite capture but a painted canvas somehow does. It feels lived in. The matte finish keeps it grounded, no glare, no shine, just the image and the texture of the canvas underneath it.
