The Varsity Theatre sits on University Avenue the way it always has, marquee out front, Spanish Revival facade catching the afternoon light, a couple of people on the sidewalk in no particular hurry. The Rocky Horror midnight show is up on the sign. Palermo is next door. The block looks exactly like itself.
